🍽️ Herb-Butter Beef Steaks

Ingredients
- 4 beef fillet steaks (approx. 160 g each)
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 2 herbs (e.g. young nettle, basil and young leaf spinach)
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp sliced almonds
- 1 dash lemon juice
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the beef steaks under cold water.
- 2. Thoroughly dry the meat with a kitchen towel.
- 3. Press the steaks slightly flat.
- 4. Season the meat with salt and pepper.
- 5. Heat oil in a pan.
- 6. Fry the steaks in the hot oil briefly on both sides.
- 7. Reduce the heat of the pan.
- 8. Let the steaks cook for another 4 to 5 minutes.
- 9. Check if the meat is still pink inside.
- 10. Rinse the fresh herbs under cold water.
- 11. Shake the herbs dry.
- 12. Pluck the leaves off the stems.
- 13. Heat butter and sliced almonds in a separate pan.
- 14. Fry the sliced almonds until slightly brown.
- 15. Add the herb leaves to the pan.
- 16. Let the herbs wilt.
- 17. Wait until the liquid has almost completely evaporated.
- 18. Season the herb mixture with salt, lemon juice, and pepper.
- 19. Plate the finished steaks.
- 20. Place the herb mixture over the meat.
- 21. Serve the dish immediately.
