🍽️ Shrimp Baked on a Lemon-Salt Crust

Ingredients
- 28 large shrimp (kitchen-ready)
- 4 garlic cloves
- 1 bunch parsley
- 2 lemons
- 2 kg coarse sea salt
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius.
- 2. Wash the shrimp thoroughly and pat them dry with a kitchen towel.
- 3. Peel the garlic cloves and chop them roughly.
- 4. Wash the parsley, shake off excess water, and chop it roughly as well.
- 5. Place the chopped garlic and parsley into a mortar and crush them into a paste.
- 6. Place the shrimp in a bowl and mix them thoroughly with the garlic-parsley paste.
- 7. Rinse the lemon under hot water and dry it thoroughly.
- 8. Slice the lemon into 24 thin slices.
- 9. Spread 1 kilogram of salt evenly across a baking sheet.
- 10. Arrange the lemon slices evenly over the salt.
- 11. Place one shrimp on top of each lemon slice.
- 12. Cover the shrimp and lemons completely with the remaining salt.
- 13. Place the tray in the oven and bake the shrimp for about 10 minutes.
- 14. Remove the tray from the oven.
- 15. Carefully loosen the shrimp from the hard salt crust.
- 16. Serve the shrimp on small plates that you have pre-warmed.
- 17. Serve with white bread on the side.
