🍽️ Fresh Ricotta Rolls with Pepper and Turkey

Ingredients
- 125 g Ricotta
- 150 g small yellow bell peppers (1 small yellow bell pepper)
- 1 pickle
- 75 g smoked turkey breast (sliced)
- 0.5 bunch chives
- 4 leaves basil
- salt
- pepper
- 2 rye whole wheat rolls
Instructions
- 1. Place the ricotta into a fine mesh sieve.
- 2. Hang the sieve over a bowl.
- 3. Gently press the ricotta to remove excess liquid.
- 4. Let the ricotta drain well.
- 5. Cut the bell pepper in half.
- 6. Remove the core and seeds from the pepper.
- 7. Rinse the pepper halves.
- 8. Dice the pepper into fine cubes.
- 9. Cut the gherkin into small cubes.
- 10. Cut the turkey breast slices into small cubes.
- 11. Wash the chives.
- 12. Wash the basil.
- 13. Shake the herbs dry.
- 14. Cut the chives into fine rings.
- 15. Cut the basil into fine strips.
- 16. Place the drained ricotta into a bowl.
- 17. Add the diced pepper to the bowl.
- 18. Add the diced gherkin to the bowl.
- 19. Add the diced turkey to the bowl.
- 20. Add the chopped herbs to the bowl.
- 21. Mix all ingredients thoroughly.
- 22. Season the mixture with salt.
- 23. Season the mixture with pepper.
- 24. Slice the rolls in half.
- 25. Hollow out the roll halves with your fingers.
- 26. Remove the bread crumb from the rolls.
- 27. Fill the ricotta mixture into the rolls.
- 28. Put the rolls back together.
