  1. 1. Thoroughly wash the rhubarb under running water.
  2. 2. Peel off the tough outer skin of the rhubarb.
  3. 3. Cut off the hard ends of the stalks.
  4. 4. Cut the rhubarb into small, even pieces.
  5. 5. Finely grate the orange peel before peeling the fruit.
  6. 6. Peel the oranges completely and remove the white pith.
  7. 7. Cut the orange flesh into individual segments (fillets).
  8. 8. Squeeze the juice from the remaining orange pulp.
  9. 9. Place the orange segments, the squeezed juice, the rhubarb, the orange zest, and the liqueur into a pot.
  10. 10. Bring the mixture to a boil on the stove.
  11. 11. Let the jam simmer for about 5 minutes.
  12. 12. Check if the rhubarb is soft.
  13. 13. Stir the sugar into the warm mixture.
  14. 14. Let the jam boil vigorously for approx. 4 minutes.
  15. 15. Perform a gel test to check the consistency.
  16. 16. Fill the hot jam into prepared, clean jars.
  17. 17. Seal the jars tightly.
  18. 18. Let the jam cool down completely in a cool place.
