  2. 2. Remove the leaves and tough ends.
  3. 3. Cut the rhubarb into pieces about 1 cm in size.
  4. 4. Place the rhubarb pieces into a pot.
  5. 5. Slice the vanilla pod in half lengthwise.
  6. 6. Add the vanilla pod, sugar, and orange juice to the rhubarb.
  7. 7. Heat the mixture while stirring until it boils.
  8. 8. Let the jam simmer for about 15 to 20 minutes.
  9. 9. Stir occasionally during this time.
  10. 10. Remove the vanilla pod from the jam.
  11. 11. Fill the hot jam immediately into prepared jars.
  12. 12. Seal the jars tightly.
  13. 13. Allow the jam to cool down completely.
