🍰 Baked Rhubarb with Honey and Orange

Ingredients
- 600 g rhubarb
- 1 untreated orange
- 50 g honey
- 1 vanilla pod
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius using the top and bottom heat setting.
- 2. Wash the rhubarb thoroughly. Remove the tough ends and cut the stalks into pieces about 15 centimeters long.
- 3. Place the rhubarb pieces in a baking dish lined with baking paper.
- 4. Wash the orange under hot water and pat it dry.
- 5. Finely grate the orange peel to release its aromas.
- 6. Squeeze the juice out of the orange.
- 7. Whisk the orange juice, the orange zest, and the honey together in a small bowl until well combined.
- 8. Pour the honey-orange mixture evenly over the rhubarb in the baking dish.
- 9. Slice the vanilla pod lengthwise and scrape out the seeds (or add the pod whole).
- 10. Add the vanilla to the rhubarb in the baking dish.
- 11. Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake the rhubarb for about 15 minutes, until it is soft.
- 12. Remove the dish from the oven.
- 13. Serve the rhubarb either while still warm or after it has cooled down.
