Ingredients
- 300 g radishes
- 300 g black radish (winter radish)
- 1 salad cucumber
- salt
- freshly ground pepper (from the mill)
Instructions
- 1. Thoroughly wash the radishes and the daikon radish under running water.
- 2. Remove the tough ends and the green tops from the roots.
- 3. Slice the radishes and the daikon radish into paper-thin rounds using a sharp knife.
- 4. Also wash the cucumber thoroughly.
- 5. Use a zester to peel long, thin strips from the green skin of the cucumber.
- 6. Arrange the thin daikon and radish slices overlapping each other, like roof tiles, on a serving platter.
- 7. Season the salad lightly with salt and black pepper.
- 8. Decorate the plate with the peeled cucumber strips.
