Ingredients
- 500 g fresh cranberries (or lingonberries)
- 200 g white sugar
- 3 tart apples
- 2 organic oranges
- 1 spring onion (finely chopped)
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the cranberries thoroughly under running water.
- 2. Peel the apples.
- 3. Halve the apples and remove the core.
- 4. Dice the apple halves into very small cubes.
- 5. Peel the oranges.
- 6. Segment the oranges to remove the skin and membranes from the fruit flesh.
- 7. Cut the orange segments into tiny pieces.
- 8. Catch the released orange juice in a bowl.
- 9. Mix the cranberries, diced apples, spring onions, and orange pieces with the sugar.
- 10. Fill the mixture into clean preserving jars.
- 11. Leave the jars in a cool place.
- 12. Let the relish infuse for at least 24 hours to allow the flavors to meld.
