🍽️ Cranberry Pecan Relish

Ingredients
- 1 onion
- 500 g cranberries
- 2 oranges (juice)
- 75 g chopped pecans
- 100 ml apple cider vinegar
- 175 g brown sugar
- 1 pinch cinnamon powder
- salt
- cayenne pepper
Instructions
- 1. Peel the onion and cut it into very small cubes.
- 2. Wash the cranberries thoroughly and let them drain well.
- 3. Add the drained cranberries, the onion cubes, the orange juice, the pecans, the vinegar, the sugar, the cinnamon stick, and the salt to a pot.
- 4. Bring the mixture to a boil on the stove.
- 5. Let the mixture simmer on medium heat for about 15 minutes.
- 6. Stir occasionally until the sauce thickens slightly.
- 7. Season the relish to taste with a little more salt and cayenne pepper.
- 8. Fill the hot mixture into clean, prepared jars.
- 9. Seal the jars tightly and let them cool completely at room temperature.
