🍽️ Small Rice Balls with Crab

Ingredients
- 400 g cooked sushi rice
- 1 tsp wasabi paste
- 400 g frozen crab
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp fish sauce
- 0.5 sheet nori
Instructions
- 1. Peel the garlic clove.
- 2. Dice the garlic very finely.
- 3. Heat sesame oil in a pan.
- 4. Sauté the garlic and thawed crab meat in the hot oil.
- 5. Deglaze the pan with fish sauce.
- 6. Simmer the mixture briefly.
- 7. Let the crab mixture cool down completely.
- 8. Cut the nori seaweed into thin strips using scissors.
- 9. Shape the rice into a compact roll.
- 10. Cut slices about 1 cm thick from the rice roll.
- 11. Place the rice slices on plates or on washed, edible leaves.
- 12. Place a small dollop of wasabi paste in the center of each rice slice.
- 13. Drape some crab meat over the paste.
- 14. Garnish the bites with the nori strips.
- 15. Serve the rice balls.
