🍰 Creamy Cinnamon Rice Pudding

Ingredients
- 1 vanilla pod
- 1 l milk (3.5% fat)
- 5 tbsp raw cane sugar
- 1 pinch salt
- 180 g natural round-grain rice
- 2 tbsp cinnamon
Instructions
- 1. Slice the vanilla pod lengthwise.
- 2. Scrape out the seeds from the pod with a knife.
- 3. Place the vanilla seeds and the empty pod into a pot.
- 4. Pour the milk over the vanilla.
- 5. Add four tablespoons of raw cane sugar.
- 6. Season the mixture with a pinch of salt.
- 7. Bring the milk to a boil.
- 8. Stir in the rice until it is incorporated.
- 9. Reduce the heat to the lowest setting.
- 10. Cover the pot with a lid.
- 11. Simmer the rice pudding for about 60 minutes on low heat.
- 12. Remove the vanilla pod from the pot.
- 13. Mix the remaining sugar with cinnamon in a small bowl.
- 14. Serve the rice pudding and sprinkle it with the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
