🍽️ Tofu Rice Bowl with Sesame

Ingredients
- 250 g Basmati rice (available at Reformhaus®)
- Sea salt from Brecht (available at Reformhaus®)
- 400 g Smoked tofu from Taifun (available at Reformhaus®)
- 2 Spring onions
- 4 Radishes
- 1 tsp ground ginger from Brecht (available at Reformhaus®)
- 1 clove Garlic
- 0.5 bunch Coriander (10 g)
- 0.5 tsp Pepper from Brecht (available at Reformhaus®)
- 0.5 tsp ground coriander from Brecht (available at Reformhaus®)
- 2 tbsp Vitam-R Klassik Yeast Extract (30 g, available at Reformhaus®)
- 2 tbsp Sesame oil from Vitaquell (available at Reformhaus®)
- 2 tbsp Reformhaus® Sesame (30 g; available at Reformhaus®)
Instructions
- 1. Put the rice into a pot.
- 2. Pour about 1 liter of cold salted water over it.
- 3. Stir the rice once.
- 4. Bring the water to a boil.
- 5. Simmer the rice on low heat for 10 to 12 minutes.
- 6. Cut the tofu into 1 cm cubes.
- 7. Clean and wash the spring onions.
- 8. Slice the spring onions into fine rings.
- 9. Clean and wash the radishes.
- 10. Slice the radishes into thin rounds.
- 11. Peel the ginger.
- 12. Mince the ginger very finely.
- 13. Peel the garlic.
- 14. Mince the garlic finely.
- 15. Wash the coriander.
- 16. Shake the coriander dry.
- 17. Pluck the coriander leaves off.
- 18. Set aside 2 tablespoons of coriander.
- 19. Place the tofu in a bowl.
- 20. Season the tofu with salt and pepper.
- 21. Add 1 tablespoon of sesame oil.
- 22. Add the minced ginger.
- 23. Add the minced garlic.
- 24. Add the Vitam-R Klassik sauce.
- 25. Add the fresh coriander.
- 26. Add the dried coriander.
- 27. Mix everything well.
- 28. Heat sesame oil in a pan.
- 29. Fry the marinated tofu over medium heat.
- 30. Fry the tofu for approx. 6 minutes.
- 31. Divide the cooked rice among bowls.
- 32. Place the fried tofu on top.
- 33. Sprinkle the bowl with sesame seeds.
- 34. Sprinkle the bowl with coriander.
- 35. Sprinkle the bowl with radishes.
- 36. Sprinkle the bowl with spring onion rings.
- 37. Garnish the bowl with the remaining coriander.
- 38. Serve the bowl.
