  4. 4. Let the rice cook until soft over low heat.

  6. 6. Melt the butter in a pan.
  7. 7. Stir the flour into the butter.
  8. 8. Sauté the mixture briefly until it is fragrant.
  9. 9. Stir in the milk.
  10. 10. Bring the sauce to a boil.
  11. 11. Let the sauce simmer for 10 minutes.
  12. 12. Stir the sauce occasionally while it cooks.
  13. 13. Remove the pan from the heat.
  14. 14. Crumble the cheese into the sauce.
  15. 15. Stir in the eggs.
  16. 16. Chop the basil.
  17. 17. Add the basil to the sauce.
