  1. 1. Rinse the rice thoroughly under running water in a sieve. Then place it in a pot with slightly more than double the amount of lightly salted water. Bring to a boil, add the spices, and let the rice steam covered on very low heat for about 20 minutes.
  2. 2. Fry the sausages in one tablespoon of hot butter over medium heat until browned all around.
  3. 3. Peel the bananas and slice them into rounds about one centimeter thick. Fry them in the remaining butter until lightly browned on both sides.
  4. 4. Gently fold the bananas into the rice. Transfer the mixture to a bowl, place the sausages on top, and serve garnished with some fresh coriander leaves.
