🍽️ Rice with Banana and Sausage

Ingredients
- 200 g Basmati rice
- 1 pinch paprika powder
- chili powder (1 pinch each)
- turmeric (1 pinch each)
- salt
- 8 small Toulouse sausages (or other small, fresh frying sausages)
- 2 bananas
- 3 tbsp butter
- cilantro leaves
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the rice thoroughly under running water in a sieve. Then place it in a pot with slightly more than double the amount of lightly salted water. Bring to a boil, add the spices, and let the rice steam covered on very low heat for about 20 minutes.
- 2. Fry the sausages in one tablespoon of hot butter over medium heat until browned all around.
- 3. Peel the bananas and slice them into rounds about one centimeter thick. Fry them in the remaining butter until lightly browned on both sides.
- 4. Gently fold the bananas into the rice. Transfer the mixture to a bowl, place the sausages on top, and serve garnished with some fresh coriander leaves.
