🍽️ Pan with Rice and Minced Meat

Ingredients
- 150 g Basmati whole grain rice
- salt
- 300 g frozen peas
- 200 g red bell peppers (1 red bell pepper)
- 140 g onions (2 onions)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 400 g beef mince
- pepper
- 1 clove garlic
- 0.5 lemon (juice)
- 125 ml vegetable broth
- 140 g corn (drained weight; can)
Instructions
- 1. Put the rice into a pot with salted water.
- 2. Cook the rice for about 20 minutes until tender. Follow the instructions on the package.
- 3. Put the peas into a small pot with a little boiling water.
- 4. Cook the peas for 5 minutes.
- 5. Wash the bell pepper thoroughly.
- 6. Remove the stem and seeds from the bell pepper.
- 7. Cut the bell pepper into small cubes.
- 8. Peel the onions.
- 9. Cut the onions into small cubes.
- 10. Heat olive oil in a large pan.
- 11. Add the minced meat to the hot pan.
- 12. Fry the minced meat on high heat.
- 13. Season the meat with salt and pepper.
- 14. Add the onion cubes to the meat.
- 15. Fry the onions together with the meat.
- 16. Peel the garlic.
- 17. Press the garlic through a press.
- 18. Add the pressed garlic to the pan.
- 19. Add lemon juice to the pan.
- 20. Add broth to the pan.
- 21. Cook the mixture for 10 minutes.
- 22. Drain the corn in a sieve.
- 23. Add the bell pepper cubes to the pan.
- 24. Add the peas to the pan.
- 25. Add the drained corn to the pan.
- 26. Cook everything for another 10 minutes.
- 27. Add the cooked rice to the pan.
- 28. Fold the rice into the mixture.
- 29. Season the dish with salt and pepper to taste.
