Ingredients
- 1.2 kg Reineclaudes
- 1 kg Jam sugar
- 2 Lemons (juice)
Instructions
- 1. Thoroughly wash the Reineclauda plums under running water.
- 2. Cut the fruits in half and remove the pits.
- 3. Place the halved fruits into a bowl.
- 4. Mix the fruits with the jam sugar.
- 5. Cover the bowl.
- 6. Let the mixture steep overnight.
- 7. Stir the lemon juice into the fruit mixture.
- 8. Pour the mixture into a cooking pot.
- 9. Bring the jam to a boil.
- 10. Let the jam simmer vigorously for about 4 minutes.
- 11. Fill the hot jam into clean jars.
- 12. Seal the jars tightly.
- 13. Let the jars cool down.
