🥤 Red Velvet Hot Chocolate

Ingredients
- 0.5 vanilla pod
- 50 g dark chocolate (vegan; min. 70% cocoa content)
- 350 ml almond drink (almond milk)
- 50 ml beetroot juice
- 10 g cocoa powder (2 tsp)
- 30 ml oat drink (oat milk) (3 tbsp)
Instructions
- 1. Split the vanilla pod lengthwise.
- 2. Scrape out the vanilla seeds with a knife.
- 3. Finely chop the chocolate.
- 4. Pour the almond drink and beetroot juice into a pot.
- 5. Add the vanilla seeds.
- 6. Warm the mixture over medium heat.
- 7. Stir in the chopped chocolate and cocoa powder using a whisk.
- 8. Remove the pot from the heat once the chocolate has melted.
- 9. Warm the oat drink in a small milk jug.
- 10. Froth the oat drink.
- 11. Pour the hot chocolate into glasses.
- 12. Top with the vegan milk foam.
- 13. Serve the drink immediately.
