  1. 1. Pat the meat dry with kitchen paper.
  2. 2. Cut the meat into approx. 3 cm cubes.
  3. 3. Peel the onion and slice it into thin rings.
  4. 4. Place the meat cubes, onion slices, and olive oil in a bowl.
  5. 5. Peel the garlic and press it into the bowl.
  6. 6. Mix everything well until the meat is evenly coated.
  7. 7. Cover the bowl and place it in a cool spot for 2 to 3 hours to marinate.
  8. 8. Wash the peppers and cut them in half lengthwise.
  9. 9. Remove the seeds and cut the flesh into approx. 2 cm pieces.
  10. 10. Peel the second onion and cut it into quarters.
  11. 11. Cut the onion quarters crosswise to create thin strips.
  12. 12. Remove the meat from the marinade and let it drain briefly.
  13. 13. Lightly grease the metal skewers with oil.
  14. 14. Thread the meat, onions, and peppers onto the skewers in an alternating pattern.
  15. 15. Preheat a charcoal grill or the oven's grill function.
  16. 16. Brush the skewers all around with some of the marinade oil.
  17. 17. Place the skewers on the hot grill grate.
  18. 18. Grill the skewers for approx. 15 minutes.
  19. 19. Turn the skewers regularly while grilling.
  20. 20. Brush the skewers with oil again in between.
  21. 21. Season the skewers with salt and pepper after grilling.
  22. 22. Serve the skewers immediately while hot.
