🍽️ Marinated Meat Skewers with Peppers and Onions

Ingredients
- 350 g pork loin
- 350 g lean veal (leg, round)
- 1 onion
- 100 ml olive oil
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 bell pepper
- 1 bell pepper
- 1 onion
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- metal skewer
Instructions
- 1. Pat the meat dry with kitchen paper.
- 2. Cut the meat into approx. 3 cm cubes.
- 3. Peel the onion and slice it into thin rings.
- 4. Place the meat cubes, onion slices, and olive oil in a bowl.
- 5. Peel the garlic and press it into the bowl.
- 6. Mix everything well until the meat is evenly coated.
- 7. Cover the bowl and place it in a cool spot for 2 to 3 hours to marinate.
- 8. Wash the peppers and cut them in half lengthwise.
- 9. Remove the seeds and cut the flesh into approx. 2 cm pieces.
- 10. Peel the second onion and cut it into quarters.
- 11. Cut the onion quarters crosswise to create thin strips.
- 12. Remove the meat from the marinade and let it drain briefly.
- 13. Lightly grease the metal skewers with oil.
- 14. Thread the meat, onions, and peppers onto the skewers in an alternating pattern.
- 15. Preheat a charcoal grill or the oven's grill function.
- 16. Brush the skewers all around with some of the marinade oil.
- 17. Place the skewers on the hot grill grate.
- 18. Grill the skewers for approx. 15 minutes.
- 19. Turn the skewers regularly while grilling.
- 20. Brush the skewers with oil again in between.
- 21. Season the skewers with salt and pepper after grilling.
- 22. Serve the skewers immediately while hot.
