Ingredients
- 1 Baguette
- 250 g Smoked salmon
- Cream cheese
- 3 Beef tomatoes
- Basil
- Salt
- Pepper (from the mill)
Instructions
- 1. Cut the bread into four equal pieces.
- 2. Cut each bread piece horizontally once, so you have a bottom and a top half for each.
- 3. Spread a generous amount of cream cheese onto the bottom half of each bread piece.
- 4. Season the cream cheese layer with a pinch of salt and freshly ground pepper.
- 5. Wash the tomatoes thoroughly under running water.
- 6. Slice the washed tomatoes into thin rounds.
- 7. Gently wash the basil leaves.
- 8. Pat the basil leaves dry with a kitchen towel.
- 9. Place the tomato slices evenly on top of the cream cheese layer.
- 10. Distribute the dry basil leaves over the tomato slices.
- 11. Place the smoked salmon as the top layer on the vegetables.
- 12. Add a little more freshly ground pepper over the salmon.
- 13. Cover the filled bread halves with the corresponding top bread halves.
