🍽️ Smoked Trout Tartare with Avocado-Mango Salsa

Ingredients
- 2 lettuce hearts
- 250 g smoked trout fillet
- 60 g crème fraîche
- 1 pinch wasabi paste
- 50 ml lemon juice (juice of one lemon)
- salt
- pepper
- 1 mango
- 1 red onion
- 1 avocado
- 1 bunch chives (20 g)
- 1 tbsp grape seed oil
- 2 tbsp roasted sesame seeds (25 g)
Instructions
- 1. Wash the lettuce leaves under cold water.
- 2. Shake the leaves dry.
- 3. Carefully separate the individual leaves from each other.
- 4. Cut the smoked trout fillet into small cubes.
- 5. Mix the trout cubes with crème fraîche.
- 6. Stir the wasabi paste into the trout mixture.
- 7. Add a splash of lemon juice.
- 8. Season the mixture with salt to taste.
- 9. Add freshly ground black pepper.
- 10. Peel the mango.
- 11. Cut the flesh away from the skin.
- 12. Carefully remove the flesh from the pit.
- 13. Cut the mango flesh into small cubes.
- 14. Peel the onion.
- 15. Dice the onion finely.
- 16. Cut the avocado in half lengthwise.
- 17. Remove the pit from the avocado half.
- 18. Carefully separate the flesh from the skin.
- 19. Cut the avocado flesh into small cubes.
- 20. Wash the chives under running water.
- 21. Shake the chives dry.
- 22. Cut the chives into fine rings.
- 23. Place the mango cubes in a bowl.
- 24. Add the diced onion.
- 25. Add the avocado cubes.
- 26. Sprinkle the chive rings over the mixture.
- 27. Drizzle some oil over the salsa.
- 28. Add the remaining lemon juice.
- 29. Season the salsa with salt.
- 30. Place a layer of lettuce leaves on a large serving platter.
- 31. Place the trout mixture in the center on the lettuce leaves.
- 32. Spread the mango-avocado salsa evenly over the tartare.
- 33. Grind fresh pepper over the dish.
- 34. Sprinkle the finished dish with sesame seeds.
