  1. 1. Preheat your oven to 220 degrees Celsius.
  2. 2. Place the bread on a baking sheet and toast it in the hot oven.
  3. 3. Take the bread out of the oven briefly and place the cheese on top.
  4. 4. Distribute the smoked fish pieces evenly over the cheese.
  5. 5. Put the bread back into the oven until the cheese has melted.
  6. 6. Fill a pot with about one liter of water and add vinegar.
  7. 7. Heat the vinegar-water mixture until it simmers (small bubbles rise to the surface).
  8. 8. Crack the eggs one by one and gently slide them into the warm water one after the other.
  9. 9. Poach the eggs for three to four minutes (cook gently in the liquid).
  10. 10. Lift the finished eggs out with a slotted spoon.
  11. 11. Place the poached eggs on the prepared bread with fish and cheese.
