Ingredients
- 250 g smoked trout fillet
- 100 g mango chutney (from the jar)
- 2 tbsp grated horseradish (fresh or jar)
- juice of one lime
- salt
- pepper
- 100 g soft butter
- 12 pumpernickel rounds
- 1 cucumber
- 3 cocktail tomatoes
- chives (for garnish)
Instructions
- 1. Finely chop the smoked fish.
- 2. Mix the chopped fish with the mango chutney and horseradish.
- 3. Stir the butter into the fish mixture.
- 4. Season the cream with lime juice, salt, and pepper.
- 5. Peel the salad cucumber.
- 6. Cut the cucumber into thick slices.
- 7. Place the cucumber slices on the pumpernickel rounds.
- 8. Spread the smoked fish cream over the slices.
- 9. Wash the tomatoes.
- 10. Cut the tomatoes into quarters.
- 11. Wash the chive stems.
- 12. Distribute the tomato quarters and chives on the bites.
