🥤 Fresh Radish-Cucumber Smoothie

Ingredients
- 200 g radishes
- 200 g cucumber (1 cucumber)
- 600 ml buttermilk
- 200 g yogurt (1,5 % fat)
- salt
- white pepper
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 6 stalks chives
Instructions
- 1. Thoroughly wash the radishes and the cucumber.
- 2. Dry the vegetables with a kitchen towel.
- 3. Slice two radishes into thin strips.
- 4. Set the radish strips aside for garnish.
- 5. Peel the cucumber.
- 6. Cut the cucumber in half lengthwise.
- 7. Remove the seeds with a spoon.
- 8. Dice the cucumber flesh into small cubes.
- 9. Place the remaining radishes and the cut cucumber pieces into a blender.
- 10. Pour 200 milliliters of buttermilk into the blender.
- 11. Blend the mixture until smooth.
- 12. Pour the remaining buttermilk into a separate bowl.
- 13. Stir the yogurt into the remaining buttermilk.
- 14. Mix the pureed vegetable mixture with the buttermilk-yogurt mixture.
- 15. Season the smoothie with salt.
- 16. Season the smoothie with pepper.
- 17. Add some lemon juice.
- 18. Taste the mixture and adjust seasoning if needed.
- 19. Pour the smoothie into four glasses.
- 20. Wash the chives.
- 21. Shake the chives dry.
- 22. Cut the chive stalks in half.
- 23. Garnish the glasses with the prepared radish strips.
- 24. Garnish the glasses additionally with the halved chive stalks.
