🍽️ Crispy Radish Spirals

Ingredients
- 1 daikon radish (ca. 500 g)
- salt
- radishes
Instructions
- 1. Thoroughly wash the radishes under running water.
- 2. Cut off the tough ends at the top and the root.
- 3. Use a vegetable peeler (radish slicer) to cut long, thin spirals from the radishes.
- 4. Place the spirals on a plate and sprinkle some salt over them.
- 5. Let the radishes sit for a few minutes so the salt draws out the water and makes them crispier.
- 6. Pat the radishes dry before serving if there is still a lot of liquid.
- 7. Serve the radishes as a side dish or snack.
- 8. Garnish the dish with additional fresh radishes as desired.
- 9. Serve with fresh peasant bread and butter.
