🍽️ Crispy Shallots with Veal Fillet and Melted Cheese

Ingredients
- 4 shallots
- 20 g butter (1 heaped tbsp)
- 350 g veal fillet
- salt
- pepper
- 250 g cherry tomatoes
- 4 sprigs parsley
- 150 g raclette cheese
- 250 g small wholemeal baguette (1 small wholemeal baguette)
Instructions
- 1. Peel the shallots.
- 2. Slice the shallots into thin rings.
- 3. Melt the butter in a large non-stick pan.
- 4. Fry the shallots until golden brown.
- 5. Remove the shallots from the pan.
- 6. Place the shallots in a small bowl.
- 7. Rinse the veal fillet.
- 8. Pat the veal fillet dry.
- 9. Slice the veal fillet into eight pieces.
- 10. Fry the fillet slices in the remaining fat.
- 11. Fry each side for one minute.
- 12. Remove the meat from the pan.
- 13. Season the meat with salt.
- 14. Season the meat with pepper.
- 15. Arrange the meat on a serving platter.
- 16. Wash the tomatoes.
- 17. Halve or quarter the tomatoes.
- 18. Wash the parsley.
- 19. Shake the parsley dry.
- 20. Pick the parsley leaves off the stems.
- 21. Cut the cheese finely.
- 22. Place the tomatoes in a small bowl.
- 23. Place the parsley in a small bowl.
- 24. Place the cheese in a small bowl.
- 25. Turn on the raclette grill.
- 26. Fill the raclette pans with shallots.
- 27. Fill the raclette pans with fillet.
- 28. Fill the raclette pans with tomatoes.
- 29. Fill the raclette pans with parsley.
- 30. Top the pans with cheese.
- 31. Broil the ingredients.
- 32. Wait until the cheese is melted.
- 33. Slide the portions onto plates.
- 34. Slice the baguette.
- 35. Serve the baguette alongside.
