  2. 2. Place the spelt in water and let it soak for at least 6 hours.
  3. 3. Stir the quark with the eggs until creamy.
  4. 4. Add flour, semolina, and a pinch of salt to the quark mixture.
  5. 5. Let the quark mixture swell for 30 minutes.
  6. 6. Clean and wash the bell peppers and carrots.
  7. 7. Cut the carrots into bite-sized pieces.
  8. 8. Cut the bell peppers into cubes.
  9. 9. Peel the onion and slice it into rings.
  10. 10. Heat some butter in a pan.
  11. 11. Sauté the onion rings in the butter.
  12. 12. Add the carrots and bell pepper cubes to the pan.
  13. 13. Season the vegetables with salt and pepper.
  14. 14. Simmer the vegetables for another 20 to 25 minutes.
  15. 15. Heat some butter in a pot.
  16. 16. Add the drained spelt to the pot.
  17. 17. Pour in some of the spelt soaking water.
  18. 18. Season the spelt with salt and pepper.
  19. 19. Simmer the spelt for 15 minutes.
  20. 20. Use spoons to scoop portions from the quark mixture.
  21. 21. Place the dumplings in boiling water.
  22. 22. Let the dumplings cook for 12 minutes.
  23. 23. Add the cream to the carrot vegetables.
  24. 24. Stir the curry powder into the vegetables.
  25. 25. Adjust the seasoning of the vegetables with salt and pepper if necessary.
  26. 26. Serve the quark dumplings on plates.
  27. 27. Serve the carrot vegetables and spelt alongside.
