🍰 Fruity Quark Cream with Mandarins and Grapefruit

Ingredients
- 2 mandarins
- 2 yellow grapefruits (or 1/2 pomelo)
- 600 g quark
- 40 ml coconut liqueur
- 2 tbsp coconut flakes
- 3 tbsp honey
- 6 tbsp fresh coconut chips
- 100 ml whipping cream
Instructions
- 1. Peel the mandarins.
- 2. Separate the individual fruit segments from each other.
- 3. Carefully remove all the white pith from the mandarins so they do not taste bitter.
- 4. Peel the grapefruit all around with a sharp knife.
- 5. Carefully cut the grapefruit fillets out of the membranes.
- 6. Chop the grapefruit fillets into small pieces.
- 7. Squeeze the remaining grapefruit membranes to collect the juice.
- 8. Mix the quark with the collected grapefruit juice.
- 9. Add the liqueur to the quark mixture.
- 10. Add the coconut flakes to the quark mixture.
- 11. Add the honey to the quark mixture.
- 12. Stir everything until a smooth mass forms.
- 13. Take a glass.
- 14. Add a layer of mandarins to the glass.
- 15. Add a layer of the quark mixture to the glass.
- 16. Add a layer of the grapefruit pieces to the glass.
- 17. Repeat the layering until the ingredients are used up.
- 18. Save a few mandarin pieces for decoration.
- 19. Put the coconut flakes into a pan.
- 20. Toast the coconut flakes without added fat.
- 21. Remove the pan from the heat as soon as the coconut flakes are light brown.
- 22. Remove the toasted coconut flakes from the pan.
- 23. Let the coconut flakes cool down.
- 24. Whip the cream until stiff.
- 25. Distribute the whipped cream over the filled glasses.
- 26. Decorate the cream with the reserved mandarins.
- 27. Sprinkle the cooled coconut flakes over the cream.
