🍰 Quark Cream with Apple Compote

Ingredients
- 2 large apples
- 500 g quark
- 4 tbsp whipping cream
- juice of one lemon
- 1 packet vanilla sugar
- 2 tbsp liquid honey
- 150 g yogurt
- 2 tbsp chopped almond kernels
- mint leaves
Instructions
- 1. Peel the apples, cut them into quarters, and remove the cores. Dice the flesh into small cubes. Place the pieces in a small saucepan, cover them lightly with water, and simmer them over low heat until soft, being careful not to let them fall apart.
- 2. Whisk the quark with the cream, yogurt, lemon juice, honey, and vanilla sugar. Finally, adjust the seasoning of the cream with a little salt or sugar to taste.
- 3. Spoon the quark cream onto the plates. Top with the warm apple compote and garnish the dish with toasted almond slices and fresh mint leaves.
