  2. 2. Pat the meat dry with kitchen paper.
  3. 3. Cut the turkey meat into small cubes.
  4. 4. Peel the onions.
  5. 5. Quarter the onions.
  6. 6. Thread the meat cubes and onion pieces alternately onto four wooden skewers.
  7. 7. Season the skewers with salt and pepper.
  8. 8. Clean the spinach of tough stems.
  9. 9. Wash the spinach thoroughly in a colander.
  10. 10. Bring 200 milliliters of water to a boil.
  11. 11. Add some salt to the boiling water.
  12. 12. Add the rice to the salted water.
  13. 13. Cook the rice covered for about 10 minutes.
  14. 14. Heat oil in a non-stick pan.
  15. 15. Place the skewers in the hot pan.
  16. 16. Fry the skewers on all sides until lightly browned over medium heat.
  17. 17. Add the almonds to the pan.
  18. 18. Toast the almonds briefly on the side.
