🍽️ Crispy Turkey Skewers

Ingredients
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 spring onion
- 150 g turkey meat
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp breadcrumbs
- salt
- pepper
- 1 pinch turmeric
- 0.5 tsp freshly grated ginger
- oil (for frying)
- 8 lettuce leaves
- 2 tbsp red cabbage (cut into thin strips)
- 2 tbsp carrots (cut into thin strips)
Instructions
- 1. Peel the garlic clove and chop it very finely.
- 2. Trim the spring onions, wash them, and slice them into paper-thin strips.
- 3. Grind the turkey meat through a meat grinder or chop it very finely.
- 4. Mix the meat in a bowl with the garlic, spring onions, egg, breadcrumbs, and ginger.
- 5. Season the meat mixture with salt, pepper, and turmeric.
- 6. Divide the mixture into 8 equal portions.
- 7. Shape each portion into a thick sausage about 4 to 5 centimeters long.
- 8. Thread the meat sausages onto the skewers.
- 9. Press the meat firmly against the skewers so it does not slip off.
- 10. Heat the oil in a frying pan.
- 11. Fry the skewers on all sides until golden brown in the pan.
- 12. Wash the salad leaves thoroughly.
- 13. Spin the salad leaves dry.
- 14. Place the dry salad leaves on a plate.
- 15. Fill the salad leaves with the red cabbage and carrot strips.
- 16. Place the fried turkey skewers on top of the vegetables.
- 17. Serve the skewers with sweet and sour chili sauce as desired.
