🍽️ Crispy Turkey Cutlets with Sesame Crust and Vegetables

Ingredients
- 4 small turkey schnitzels (approx. 80 g each)
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- 2 tbsp flour
- 1 egg
- 6 tbsp sesame seeds
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 red bell pepper
- 1 carrot
- 50 g snow peas
- 50 g small button mushrooms
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 tbsp light soy sauce
Instructions
- 1. Season the meat with salt and pepper.
- 2. Whisk the egg in a deep plate.
- 3. Spread the flour on a shallow plate.
- 4. Spread the sesame seeds on a separate shallow plate.
- 5. Wash the bell pepper.
- 6. Remove the stem and seeds from the bell pepper.
- 7. Cut the bell pepper in half.
- 8. Remove all white inner membranes from the bell pepper.
- 9. Cut the bell pepper into thin strips.
- 10. Peel the carrot.
- 11. Slice the carrot diagonally into thin rounds.
- 12. Clean the mushrooms.
- 13. Cut the mushrooms into smaller pieces if necessary.
- 14. Wash the snow peas.
- 15. Remove the stems and strings from the snow peas.
- 16. Coat the meat in the flour first.
- 17. Dip the meat into the whisked egg next.
- 18. Press the meat into the sesame seeds last.
- 19. Heat butter in a pan.
- 20. Fry the cutlets for about 4 minutes per side in the hot butter.
- 21. Heat oil in a separate pan.
- 22. Fry the prepared vegetables for about 5 minutes while stirring.
- 23. Season the vegetables with salt.
- 24. Season the vegetables with pepper.
- 25. Season the vegetables with soy sauce.
- 26. Place the turkey cutlets on the plates.
- 27. Add the vegetables to the cutlets.
- 28. Serve the dish with rice.
