🍽️ Braised Turkey Legs with Colorful Vegetables

Ingredients
- 4 turkey legs
- 6 small carrots
- 8 shallots
- 0.5 bunch thyme
- olive oil (cold-pressed)
- 125 ml vegetable stock
- 125 ml white wine
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
Instructions
- 1. Soak the clay pot in water for about 15 minutes to let it absorb moisture. Rub the turkey legs generously with salt and pepper. Peel the carrots and cut them into thick sticks. Also peel the shallots.
- 2. Place the prepared vegetables in the pot and season them with salt and pepper as well. Pour in the wine and broth. Lay the turkey legs on top of the vegetables. Distribute the thyme sprigs over everything and drizzle with 1 to 2 tablespoons of olive oil.
- 3. Place the lid on the pot and put it into a cold oven. Set the temperature to 200 degrees and let the dish braise for about 1.5 hours. Remove the lid 20 minutes before the end of the time, taste the sauce again and serve the dish.
