Ingredients
- 400 g turkey breast fillet
- 1 clove garlic
- 2 tbsp oil
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- 1 tsp oregano (dried)
- 0.5 cucumber
- 1 lemon
- 4 pita breads
- 200 g tzatziki (ready-made)
- 80 g black olives
Instructions
- 1. Slice the turkey breast into thin slices.
- 2. Cut the slices into thin strips.
- 3. Peel the garlic.
- 4. Finely chop the garlic.
- 5. Heat oil in a pan.
- 6. Fry the turkey strips over high heat.
- 7. Stir constantly.
- 8. Cook the meat strips for about four minutes until they are light brown.
- 9. Press the chopped garlic into the pan.
- 10. Season the dish with salt.
- 11. Season the dish with pepper.
- 12. Season the dish with oregano.
- 13. Wash the cucumber.
- 14. Slice the cucumber into thin rounds.
- 15. Wash the lemon.
- 16. Dry the lemon.
- 17. Cut the lemon into wedges.
- 18. Cut open the pita buns.
- 19. Fill the buns with the cucumber slices.
- 20. Fill the buns with the turkey gyros.
- 21. Fill the buns with tzatziki.
- 22. Serve the buns with the lemon wedges.
- 23. Serve the dish with olives.
