🍽️ Crispy Turkey Burgers with Fresh Tomato and Onion Salad

Ingredients
- 2 tomatoes
- 2 onions
- 1 tbsp flat-leaf parsley (chopped)
- 450 g ground turkey
- 4 tbsp breadcrumbs
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- 3 tbsp butter
- 4 hamburger buns
- 4 tbsp ketchup
Instructions
- 1. Wash the tomatoes thoroughly and remove the hard stem ends.
- 2. Cut the tomatoes into small cubes.
- 3. Peel the onion and cut it into cubes as well.
- 4. Take a portion of the onion cubes and mix them with the tomato cubes and the parsley.
- 5. Set this mixture aside as a fresh tomato salad.
- 6. Season the ground turkey with salt and pepper to taste.
- 7. Add the breadcrumbs and the remaining onion cubes to the meat.
- 8. Knead everything well together until a homogeneous mass is formed.
- 9. Shape the meat mixture into flat patties.
- 10. Heat the butter in a frying pan.
- 11. Fry the patties in the hot butter until golden brown on all sides.
- 12. Cook the patties for a total of about 10 minutes until they are fully cooked.
- 13. Slice the burger buns horizontally.
- 14. Spread ketchup on the bun halves.
- 15. Place the fried patties on the buns.
- 16. Add the prepared tomato salad as a topping.
- 17. Assemble the burgers and serve immediately.
