🍽️ Juicy Turkey Roast with Tomato Sauce

Ingredients
- 800 g Turkey breast fillet (whole piece)
- Salt
- Pepper (from the mill)
- 5 tbsp Oil (with basil)
- 2 tbsp Lemon juice
- 200 ml Poultry broth
- 500 g Cherry tomatoes
- 1 tbsp Sugar
- 1 bunch chopped parsley
- 1 Clove of garlic
- 2 tbsp Capers
- 0.5 tsp Sambal oelek
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the turkey fillet under running water and pat it completely dry with kitchen paper.
- 2. Season the meat generously with salt and black pepper.
- 3. Heat two tablespoons of oil in a casserole dish and brown the turkey fillet on all sides.
- 4. Drizzle the browned meat with lemon juice.
- 5. Preheat the oven to 190 degrees Celsius and place the meat on the second rack from the bottom for about 40 minutes.
- 6. After 30 minutes of cooking time, pour 100 milliliters of broth over the meat.
- 7. Wash the tomatoes and add them to the turkey meat now.
- 8. Sprinkle some sugar over the tomatoes.
- 9. Puree the parsley, one peeled garlic clove, capers, the remaining broth, the remaining oil, and Sambal Oelek into a smooth sauce.
- 10. Finally, season the sauce with salt and serve it together with the meat.
