🍽️ Honey-glazed turkey roast with roasted vegetables

Ingredients
- 1 turkey breast fillet (approx. 2 kg)
- 4 carrots
- 4 onions
- 2 garlic cloves
- salt
- pepper
- 2 tbsp rapeseed oil
- 250 ml meat broth
- 3 tbsp honey
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the turkey breast under running water and pat it completely dry with kitchen paper.
- 2. Peel the carrots, onions, and garlic.
- 3. Cut the carrots and onions into large chunks.
- 4. Season the meat generously with salt and pepper.
- 5. Heat oil in a casserole dish and sear the meat on all sides over medium heat.
- 6. Add the prepared vegetables to the meat in the casserole dish.
- 7. Preheat your oven to 180 degrees Celsius (convection 160 degrees Celsius or gas mark 2 to 3).
- 8. Place the casserole in the oven and roast the meat with the vegetables for about 20 minutes.
- 9. Pour some meat broth over the meat.
- 10. Let the meat simmer until cooked through for another 50 minutes.
- 11. Baste the meat repeatedly with the pan juices from the pot during the cooking time.
- 12. Add more broth as needed to prevent the bottom from drying out.
- 13. Pour honey over the meat in the last 10 minutes of cooking time to glaze it.
- 14. Slice the finished meat.
- 15. Serve the meat slices together with the vegetables.
