🍽️ Pan with Turkey Meatballs and Tomatoes

Ingredients
- 600 g ground turkey
- 2 egg yolks
- 80 g breadcrumbs
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- 1 red chili pepper
- 5 spring onions
- 500 g cherry tomatoes (red and yellow)
- 40 g butter
- 3 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- 1. Mix the ground turkey with the two egg yolks and 4 tablespoons of breadcrumbs.
- 2. Season the mixture with salt and pepper.
- 3. Moisten your hands with water.
- 4. Form small balls from the meat mixture.
- 5. Keep the meatballs cold until you are ready to use them.
- 6. Wash the peppers.
- 7. Remove the stems and the inside of the peppers.
- 8. Slice the peppers into thin rings.
- 9. Wash the spring onions.
- 10. Remove the ends of the spring onions.
- 11. Slice the spring onions diagonally into small rings.
- 12. Wash the cherry tomatoes.
- 13. Halve the cherry tomatoes.
- 14. Roll the meatballs in the remaining breadcrumbs.
- 15. Heat the butter in a pan.
- 16. Fry the meatballs until golden brown over medium heat.
- 17. Fry the meatballs for a total of 8 to 10 minutes.
- 18. Fry the meatballs on all sides.
- 19. Remove the meatballs from the pan.
- 20. Let the meatballs drain on kitchen paper.
- 21. Heat the olive oil in a pan.
- 22. Fry the spring onions, peppers, and cherry tomatoes in it.
- 23. Fry the vegetables for 5 to 7 minutes.
- 24. Stir the vegetables while frying.
- 25. Season the vegetables with salt and pepper.
- 26. Add the meatballs back to the pan.
- 27. Toss the meatballs briefly in the pan.
- 28. Taste the dish and adjust seasoning if needed.
- 29. Serve the dish.
- 30. Serve the dish with flatbread, for example.
