Ingredients
- 120 g turkey breast fillet
- 0.5 shallot (finely chopped)
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tsp chive rings
- 1 tsp thyme leaves (chopped)
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- ghee
- 1 tomato (sliced)
- lettuce leaves
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp ketchup
- 2 rolls
Instructions
- 1. Finely chop the turkey breast.
- 2. Finely chop the shallot and the tomato as well.
- 3. Mix the meat with the shallot, tomato, and herbs in a bowl.
- 4. Season the mixture with salt and pepper.
- 5. Shape two flat patties from the mixture.
- 6. Heat ghee (clarified butter) in a frying pan.
- 7. Fry the patties in the hot fat until golden brown on both sides.
- 8. Slice the buns in half.
- 9. Spread ketchup on one half of the bun.
- 10. Spread mayonnaise on the other half of the bun.
- 11. Place lettuce leaves on the ketchup-spread side.
- 12. Place tomato slices on the lettuce.
- 13. Season the tomato slices with a little salt and pepper.
- 14. Place the fried turkey patties on the tomatoes.
- 15. Close the burger with the mayonnaise-spread bun half.
