  1. 1. Remove the outer leaves from the cabbage and cut out the hard core in a wedge shape.
  2. 2. Grate the cabbage finely using a kitchen grater or cut it into very thin strips.
  3. 3. Peel the carrot and grate it finely as well, or cut it into thin strips.
  4. 4. Put both the cabbage and the carrot into a bowl.
  5. 5. Knead the vegetables vigorously by hand to break open the cell walls.
  6. 6. Cut the peeled half onion into fine strips.
  7. 7. Add the onion strips to the vegetables in the bowl.
  8. 8. Stir the mayonnaise, sour cream, and mustard into the vegetables.
  9. 9. Season the mixture with salt and pepper.
  10. 10. Let the salad marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  11. 11. After waiting, adjust the seasoning of the salad with salt and pepper.
  12. 12. Peel the shallot and dice it finely.
  13. 13. Mix the diced shallot with the egg and the minced meat.
  14. 14. Add enough breadcrumbs until you have a dough that is easy to shape.
  15. 15. Season the meat mixture with salt and cayenne pepper.
  16. 16. Form four burgers from the mixture.
  17. 17. Fry the burgers in hot oil for 6 to 8 minutes on each side.
  18. 18. Wash the tomatoes and cut out the stem area.
  19. 19. Slice the tomatoes thinly.
  20. 20. Wash the lettuce and separate the individual leaves.
  21. 21. Cut the buns in half.
  22. 22. Toast the cut sides of the buns until crispy, for example in a toaster.
  23. 23. Place 2 to 3 lettuce leaves on the bottom halves of the buns.
  24. 24. Add two tomato slices and a turkey burger on top.
  25. 25. Add some coleslaw to the burger.
  26. 26. Serve the burger garnished with fresh basil.
  27. 27. Serve the remaining cabbage salad separately.
