🍽️ Wok Turkey with Colorful Vegetables

Ingredients
- 2 bunch spring onions
- 2 red bell peppers
- 175 g baby corn
- 0.5 red chili pepper
- 2 garlic cloves
- 2 turkey breast fillets (approx. 300 g, skinless and boneless)
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
- 4 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp Dayong spice mix (Chinese spice mix)
- 200 g Chinese egg noodles
- sesame seeds (1 tsp each)
- black cumin seeds (1 tsp each)
Instructions
- 1. Wash the spring onions thoroughly and pat them dry.
- 2. Cut the spring onions into small pieces.
- 3. Remove the stems and outer leaves of the bell pepper.
- 4. Cut the bell pepper into four equal quarters.
- 5. Remove the seeds and white inner membranes of the bell pepper.
- 6. Rinse the deseeded pepper pieces briefly.
- 7. Cut the bell pepper flesh into bite-sized pieces.
- 8. Slice the chili pepper lengthwise.
- 9. Remove the seeds and white membranes of the chili.
- 10. Rinse the prepared chili briefly.
- 11. Mince the chili very finely.
- 12. Peel the garlic clove.
- 13. Mince the garlic finely.
- 14. Slice the turkey breast thinly across the grain.
- 15. Cook the Chinese egg noodles in salted water according to the package instructions.
- 16. Drain the noodles.
- 17. Keep the noodles warm.
- 18. Heat a wok or a large frying pan.
- 19. Add one tablespoon of oil to the hot pan.
- 20. Fry the meat quickly, turning it to brown on all sides while stirring.
- 21. Remove the browned meat from the pan.
- 22. Set the meat aside.
- 23. Add the minced garlic and chili to the pan.
- 24. Fry the garlic and chili while stirring.
- 25. Add the baby corn cobs to the pan.
- 26. Continue frying the vegetables for two minutes.
- 27. Add the bell pepper pieces and spring onion pieces to the pan.
- 28. Fry the vegetables for another two minutes.
- 29. Return the prepared meat to the pan.
- 30. Add the soy sauce and the spice mix.
- 31. Fry everything together for one minute.
- 32. Serve the dish in small bowls.
- 33. Sprinkle sesame seeds over the food.
- 34. Sprinkle black cumin over the food.
