  2. 2. Mix honey, balsamic vinegar, the grated zest and juice of the lime, cayenne pepper, and salt in a bowl.
  3. 3. Press the garlic directly into this marinade.
  4. 4. Cut the chicken breast fillet into small, bite-sized pieces.
  5. 5. Pierce the meat cubes with a long, sharp knife onto the cinnamon sticks to form skewers.
  6. 6. Place the skewers on a plate.
  7. 7. Drizzle the skewers with the marinade.
  8. 8. Let the skewers marinate covered for about 20 minutes.
  9. 9. Wash the tomatoes thoroughly.
  10. 10. Rinse the thyme sprigs.
  11. 11. Shake the thyme sprigs dry.
  12. 12. Carefully strip the leaves from the stems.
  13. 13. Heat oil in a pot.
  14. 14. Add the tomatoes.
  15. 15. Sprinkle the tomatoes with sugar.
  16. 16. Caramelize the tomatoes while stirring for 1 to 2 minutes.
  17. 17. Remove the tomatoes from the pot.
  18. 18. Add thyme and saffron with 3 to 4 tablespoons of water to the pot.
  19. 19. Let the flavors reduce briefly.
  20. 20. Return the tomatoes to the pot.
  21. 21. Season the tomatoes with salt and pepper.
  22. 22. Heat butter in a large pan.
  23. 23. Fry the skewers over low heat for about 5 minutes on each side.
  24. 24. Serve the skewers together with the tomatoes.
