  1. 1. Peel the onions and garlic. Cut them into very small cubes.
  2. 2. Cut the sausage into fine cubes.
  3. 3. Peel the potatoes and wash them. Cut them into cubes.
  4. 4. Heat two tablespoons of olive oil in a pot.
  5. 5. Sauté the onions in it over medium heat for seven to eight minutes until translucent. Stir them occasionally.
  6. 6. Add the garlic and chorizo cubes. Fry everything for two more minutes.
  7. 7. Add cumin, the potato cubes, and the broth to the pot.
  8. 8. Bring the mixture to a boil once.
  9. 9. Let the stew simmer for about twenty minutes over medium heat.
  10. 10. Wash the kale thoroughly and let it drain well.
  11. 11. Cut the kale into very fine strips or shred it finely by hand.
  12. 12. Rinse the lemon under hot water and dry it.
  13. 13. Grate some lemon zest finely.
  14. 14. Drain the piri piri peppers and catch the oil.
  15. 15. Finely chop the peppers.
  16. 16. Mix the chopped peppers with the caught oil and the lemon zest.
  17. 17. Puree the potatoes, onions, garlic, and sausage in the broth finely using a hand blender.
  18. 18. Add the prepared kale to the pot.
  19. 19. Let everything cook for another ten minutes over medium heat.
  20. 20. Rinse the prawns and pat them dry.
  21. 21. Add the prawns to the stew.
  22. 22. Bring everything to a boil again.
  23. 23. Cook the prawns for two minutes.
  24. 24. Season the stew to taste with salt and pepper.
  25. 25. Drizzle the piri piri oil over the stew.
  26. 26. Plate the stew and serve it.
