🍰 Crunchy Oat Bars with Chocolate Coating

Ingredients
- 150 g Davert (Oat Porridge Vanilla)
- 80 g Davert (Spelt Flakes)
- 150 g Coconut oil
- 140 g Maple syrup
- 100 g Dark chocolate
Instructions
- 1. Mix the oat flakes and the wheat crisps in a large bowl.
- 2. Heat the coconut oil and the maple syrup in a small pot until the mixture boils.
- 3. Let the liquid mixture simmer gently for about one minute over low heat.
- 4. Pour the warm liquid over the dry ingredients and stir everything well.
- 5. Line a baking pan with baking paper.
- 6. Fill the bar mixture into the prepared pan.
- 7. Press the mixture firmly and smoothly with a spoon so that it is about three centimeters high.
- 8. Preheat the oven to 170 degrees Celsius top/bottom heat (or 150 degrees Celsius fan-forced).
- 9. Bake the bars for 10 to 15 minutes in the preheated oven.
- 10. Remove the pan from the oven and let the mixture cool down completely.
- 11. Carefully cut the cooled mass into individual bars.
- 12. Melt the chocolate over a hot water bath.
- 13. Dip the bottom of each bar briefly into the liquid chocolate.
- 14. Place the bars with the chocolate side down on a cake rack or fresh baking paper.
- 15. Pour the remaining chocolate over the bars.
- 16. Put the bars in the refrigerator until the chocolate is hard.
