🍳 Classic Oatmeal Breakfast

Ingredients
- 150 g coarse oat flakes
- 800 ml milk (1.5% fat)
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 red-skinned apple
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 200 g mixed berries (raspberries and blueberries)
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 pinch cinnamon
- 4 tbsp yogurt (1.5% fat)
- 2 tbsp sunflower seeds
Instructions
- 1. Put the oats, milk, and a pinch of salt into a pot.
- 2. Heat the mixture while stirring constantly.
- 3. Reduce the heat to a low setting.
- 4. Let the porridge simmer for about 10 minutes.
- 5. Stir frequently to prevent sticking.
- 6. Wash the apple under running water.
- 7. Grate the flesh on a coarse grater.
- 8. Remove the core and discard it.
- 9. Drizzle the grated apples with lemon juice.
- 10. Sort through the berries and remove any stems.
- 11. Rinse the berries briefly.
- 12. Pat the berries dry with a kitchen towel.
- 13. Fold the grated apples into the finished porridge.
- 14. Season the porridge with honey and cinnamon to taste.
- 15. Divide the porridge among four small bowls.
- 16. Add one tablespoon of yogurt to each serving.
- 17. Top the breakfast with the prepared berries.
- 18. Sprinkle sunflower seeds over the top.
