  6. 6. Add sugar, vinegar, salt, the ground spices, the grated ginger, the onion cubes, and the strawberries to a pot.
  7. 7. Stir the mixture and bring it to a boil while stirring continuously.
  8. 8. Let the sauce simmer on low heat for 45 to 60 minutes until it becomes thick.
  9. 9. Stir the sauce occasionally to prevent it from burning.
  10. 10. Season the sauce to taste with salt and spices.
  11. 11. Let the sauce cool down completely.
  12. 12. Preheat the oven to 220 degrees Celsius fan-assisted.
  13. 13. Sift the flour into a large bowl.
  14. 14. Season the flour with salt.
  15. 15. Crack the egg into the bowl.
  16. 16. Pour in about 60 milliliters of water.
