🍽️ Crispy French Fries

Ingredients
- 1 kg waxy potatoes
- 1 tsp sweet paprika powder
- 1 tsp garlic granules
- 1 tbsp salt
- 0.5 tsp pepper
- vegetable oil for frying
- 30 g tomato salsa sauce
Instructions
- 1. Wash the potatoes thoroughly under running water.
- 2. Peel the potatoes completely.
- 3. Cut the potatoes into sticks with a diameter of about 1 centimeter.
- 4. Rinse the potato sticks with cold water to remove excess starch.
- 5. Pat the potatoes completely dry using a kitchen paper towel or a clean cloth.
- 6. Mix paprika powder, garlic, salt, and pepper in a small bowl to create a spice blend.
- 7. Heat vegetable oil in a pot to approximately 170 degrees Celsius.
- 8. Add the potatoes to the hot oil in batches.
- 9. Fry the potatoes for about 5 minutes until they are soft but have not yet taken on any color.
- 10. Carefully lift the potatoes out of the fat and let them drain.
- 11. Increase the oil temperature to approximately 190 degrees Celsius.
- 12. Add the potatoes back into the hot oil in batches.
- 13. Fry the potatoes for another 2 minutes until they are crispy and golden brown.
- 14. Lift the finished fries out of the oil using a slotted spoon.
- 15. Let the fries drain well.
- 16. Sprinkle the fries with the prepared spice blend.
- 17. Serve the fries with tomato salsa as desired.
