  1. 1. Halve the bell pepper and remove the seeds. Wash the peppers and cut them into small cubes.
  2. 2. Peel the onion and garlic. Finely chop both ingredients.
  3. 3. Halve the chili pepper lengthwise and remove the seeds. Wash and finely chop it.
  4. 4. Dip the tomatoes briefly into boiling water. Remove them immediately and shock them with cold water.
  5. 5. Peel the skin off the tomatoes. Roughly chop the flesh.
  6. 6. Heat one tablespoon of oil in a pot.
  7. 7. Add the bell pepper cubes, onion, garlic, and chili to the pot. Sauté the vegetables briefly.
  8. 8. Add the chopped tomatoes. Let the mixture simmer on low heat for five minutes.
  9. 9. Season the sauce with vinegar, salt, and pepper.
  10. 10. Set aside the pepper salsa.
  11. 11. Bring the broth to a boil in a pot.
  12. 12. Remove the pot from the heat.
  13. 13. Sprinkle the cornmeal (polenta) into the hot broth while stirring constantly.
  14. 14. Place the pot back on the stove.
  15. 15. Let the polenta swell on low heat for about five minutes, stirring occasionally.

  17. 17. Let the polenta rest for another five minutes, stirring it several times in between.
  18. 18. Season the polenta to taste with salt.
  19. 19. Brush a baking sheet with the remaining oil.
  20. 20. Place the polenta on the baking sheet.
  21. 21. Spread the polenta with a rubber spatula into a square of approximately 32 by 32 centimeters.
  22. 22. Let the polenta base cool down slightly.
  23. 23. Spread the pepper salsa evenly over the polenta.
  24. 24. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius (convection: 180 degrees, gas: setting 3).
  25. 25. Place the tray on the lowest rack.
  26. 26. Bake the pizza for about ten minutes.
  27. 27. Crack the eggs.
  28. 28. Gently slide the eggs onto the pizza, similar to fried eggs.
  29. 29. Bake the pizza for another ten minutes.
  30. 30. Remove the pizza from the oven.
  31. 31. Cut the pizza into six pieces.
