Ingredients
- 1 clove garlic
- 300 ml milk (1.5% fat)
- salt
- 100 g corn grits
- 40 g parmesan (30% fat in dry matter)
- pepper
Instructions
- 1. Peel the garlic clove.
- 2. Finely chop the garlic.
- 3. Place the garlic, the milk, and 300 milliliters of lightly salted water in a pot.
- 4. Bring the mixture in the pot to a boil.
- 5. Add the cornmeal to the boiling liquid.
- 6. Stir constantly while doing so.
- 7. Reduce the heat to the lowest setting.
- 8. Let the polenta swell at this low heat for 40 minutes.
- 9. Stir the polenta several times during this period.
- 10. Grate the Parmesan cheese in the meantime.
- 11. Stir the grated Parmesan into the polenta.
- 12. Season the polenta generously with salt and pepper.
- 13. Serve the polenta.
