  1. 1. Crack each egg individually into a small bowl or a cup.
  2. 2. Pour the vinegar into a small pot with about one liter of water that is just about to boil.
  3. 3. Carefully slide each egg from the bowl into the hot water.
  4. 4. Use a tablespoon to gently push the egg white into a round shape around the yolk.
  5. 5. Let the eggs cook for about four minutes until the white is firm but the yolk remains soft.
  6. 6. Carefully lift the finished eggs out of the water with a slotted spoon.
  7. 7. Place the eggs on a bed of spinach.
  8. 8. Season the eggs with salt and pepper and serve immediately.
