  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) using top and bottom heat.
  2. 2. Cut the butter into small pieces.
  3. 3. Cut the marzipan raw mass into small pieces.
  4. 4. Beat the butter pieces, sugar, and marzipan pieces together with an electric hand mixer until creamy and smooth.
  5. 5. Stir in the eggs one by one.
  6. 6. Gently fold the flour and almonds into the dough.
  7. 7. Fill the dough into a piping bag fitted with a round tip (1 cm diameter).
  8. 8. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
  9. 9. Pipe diamond shapes (approx. 5 to 6 cm large) from the dough onto the tray.
  10. 10. Bake the cookies in the preheated oven for approx. 12 minutes.
  11. 11. Remove the tray from the oven.
  12. 12. Let the cookies cool down completely on the tray.
  13. 13. Warm the apricot jam separately in a small saucepan.
  14. 14. Warm the jelly separately in another small saucepan.
  15. 15. Pass the warmed apricot jam through a fine sieve to make it smooth.
